For beginning paddlers with no prior experience or newer paddlers without prior instruction. On land, we’ll cover proper stretching technique, equipment, laws and safety, correct stance, paddling and turning techniques. On water, you’ll learn how to get on and off your board, transition to standing and apply turning and breaking techniques. All students, regardless of age or athletic ability, are up and paddling on their very first lesson! Lesson includes instruction, board and paddle, leash, personal flotation device (PFD), swim and stretch breaks and plenty of time to play and paddle (bonus: we often see bald eagles!) Students will learn everything they need to safely and efficiently paddle and HAVE FUN doing it!

SATURDAY GROUP 101 CLASSES run from April 28th - October 6th, 2018. April 28th is a special season "kick-off" class, starting at 10:45 am. May 12th - September 8th, classes begin at 8:10 am to beat the heat! Cost: $50/person (2 person MINIMUM TO HOLD CLASS)
