Doing Yoga while floating on a SUP in a beautiful lakeside cove? What’s not to love? Our popular SUP Yoga classes offer various yoga sequences on the boards for all levels of students. Classes start with instruction on the beach before transitioning to water to anchor for practice, and end with savasana meditation. OUR SUP YOGA CLASSES MEET THE SAFEST TEACHER:STUDENT ratio! No more than 7 students may participate, so you will never feel lost in a crowd and will receive individual attention, if needed. Students LOVE our SUP boards for yoga due to non-slip pad, comfort, stability & size.
Because SUP Yoga classes are limited to 7 people, we recommend you reserve your spot in a class in advance.

Join us for 3 blissful hours of relaxing, restorative YIN YOGA and Yoga Nidra under a setting sun. After paddling for 35 + minutes to a quiet cove, we will anchor for SUP Yin and Yoga Nidra. Yin Yoga moves at a much slower, meditative pace than other yoga styles. Yin postures are primarily passive and are held longer, targeting the body’s deep connective tissues. We will follow our yin practice with floating Yoga Nidra, a deeply restful meditative practice. You'll come away from experience feeling more at ease with life and ready to take on the rest of the week in the spirit of equanimity.

About your yoga teacher: Allison Martin-Attix, E-RYT200 & RYT500/YACEP (Yoga Alliance Continuing Ed. Provider), has been practicing yoga and meditation for more than twenty years. She has been teaching in the triangle area since 2004 and being one of the very first to offer SUP Yoga in NC, helped pioneer the SUP Yoga scene! She is an experienced water woman with 1,000s of hours teaching SUP and yoga to all levels. She holds some of the best SUP/Yoga certifications in the world.

A meditation practitioner since 1998, Allison Martin-Attix became a certified meditation coach in 2005. While we tend to spend time training our bodies, we spend little time training our minds. Living a balanced life includes taking time in nature and learning to focus inwardly. This combined SUP meditation class offers all of that and more!
PREREQUISITE: This class will not cover how to Standup Paddleboard. Please join us first for SUP 101 to learn how to SUP safely and effectively!
